Brought together for the first time in Hong Kong on 19 March 2003 at the 12th International World Health Organization Conference on Safe Communities, the International Safe Schools Educational Leaders Panel is designed to foster growth among leaders in education and safety in sharing research based, research proven programs and approaches to safety in schools within a safe community setting. This in turn will foster growth between schools around the world and between local schools and their surrounding communities in promoting safety and injury prevention.
